Vehicle Listing Description
1965 Chevrolet El Camino. 350ci motor from 1969 Chevelle SS. Custom performance headers into Purple Hornies exhaust by Flowtech. Edelbrock 1406 Performer 600 CFM Square Bore 4-Barrel Air Valve Secondary Electric Choke Carb (I will also include the Edelbrock 1411 Performer 750 CFM Square Bore 4-Barrel with manual choke that came with the vehicle). Custom 17x8 wheels. Custom gauges. TH350 tranny. Vented, slotted and drilled big front disk brake conversion makes the beast stop on a dime. CD player, custom sound system. I purchased the elco 2 years ago for $9,000 and have since spent well over $6,000 making it rock solid and clean on the performance end, leaving the looks of the car up to you. The price is firm. Call Lanes Automotive at 817-283-6223 and speak to Dean Lane about the car if you want to hear the details from the mechanic.

Call the owner Luke DeFilippis at 817-307-1553 if you want more details.
I'm as honest as they come and will answer all questions to the best of my ability.

Here is the vehicle breakdown (figures do include labor):
Original Car purchase $9,000
wheels and tires $1125
Brand new suspension (springs and shocks) $852.59
Headers and mufflers $625.65
Power brake conversion (drums to disks with power brake booster) $1675.99
Sound system and cd player $450
New high torque starter $395
Custom fan shroud and battery box (metal shop work) $295
Tranny flush, radiator flush, engine lubrication flush/cleaning $725
New GM starter $188
New custom gauge cluster (water temp, battery power, oil pressure) $700
Misc repairs and maintenance $1200+

The guy I purchased the elco from did all the work himself and therefore not the best job. I did all the work through a professional mechanic.

There is very minimal rust...very minimal.

Buy the car, spend some money on the exterior and interior and you have a show winner and you could resell it for $25,000 and up.

Go to www.jjbest.com for financing. The Elco is listed there as well.
