| Vehicle Listing Description | 1987 Chevy El Camino 80,000 original miles
This is the nicest original El Camino you will find, the last year that Chevrolet made them. Originally purchased in ’87 by the inlaws, it was actually driven by an old couple for most of its life. It is very clean and runs great. It has power steering, power brakes, and AC, The car has been well maintained since 1987. Included is a set of nice snow tires mounted on winter rims.
Exterior – Body is in great shape, there are a couple of parking lot/ shopping cart/ door dings and that’s it. No rust or cancer due to inside storage or under a tarp for most of its’ life. It has a matching canopy that is in excellent shape. The OEM rear air shocks have been replaced with gas shocks, but I still have all the hoses to hook up the OEM air shock system.
Interior – No rips or tears in the upholstery. The stock covering behind the seats still has all the original snaps and velcro intact. The spare tire still has the OEM grab handle. The OEM floor mats are still looking good. Stock OEM AM./FM stereo. AC works great and has been upgraded to R134.
Engine – Stock 4.3L V6 with less than 80,000 miles. Always starts and drives great. Replaced the Cat/Con and exhaust last year, it passes emissions with flying colors! The AC compressor was replaced last year. Regular tune-ups and oil changes performed on time.
You won’t find a cleaner El Camino than this. It can be driven as is for years, or you could drop a V8 in and modify it all you want to.
